Taking on the role of a medieval king, players set out to rule feudal Europe by building castles, taxing their subjects, expanding their territories, and engaging in battle.

Secret Missions
The Risk Europe game lets you add secret missions to your game as an additional play option.
In Secret Mission mode, you review the missions stated on the back of the Crown Card that you pick from the pile.
Then you secretly choose 1 of the 2 missions offered and keep that card in front of you face down.
Don’t reveal the mission to other players until you complete it. Once your secret mission is complete you add a permanent crown to your kingdom, plus a bonus that counts for the rest of the game.

It is a very different game from standard Risk. (Think of how different Star Wars Risk is from traditional Risk). There’s a bit more strategy here, and more options as well. I think Risk Europe is the superior game.

Fantastic game. A beautiful expansion from the classic Risk game. Reminiscent of Axis and Allies but with the Risk touch, A must have for any gamer. The board and army renditions are top notch. A more complex combat system involving differences in unit and order of battle add to the flair..At last a compelling and challenging contest of strategy with a intoxicating battle sequence. The deals and traitorous turns which can be extricated from other Risk games is here at the forefront without which there can be no victory.
